Can I use the same cloth for leather, displays, and plastic?

Rather not.

For best results, use a separate cloth depending on the application:

One for glass and displays, one for leather, and another for plastic.

This way you avoid streaks or product residue on sensitive surfaces.

What does the GSM rating mean for microfiber cloths?

GSM stands for "grams per square meter" and describes the density of the fiber.

The higher the value, the denser, softer and more absorbent the cloth.
